Poverty Relief The mission of the Poverty Relief Ministry is to assist area residents who are living under the pressure of everyday economic hardship. This is accomplished by bringing St. Thomas and other area churches together in a coordinated volunteer relief effort. Along with other churches, St Thomas has joined Love INC, a faith-based relief program with more than 140 affiliates nationwide.
